Each section packs a punch for that phase of a woman's life. I especially enjoyed Meraki: Camp Canweta, Memorial Day: I am from the same generation and town as the author, and these poems evoke that time and place in a very personal way, down to the smallest details of the veterans in the Memorial Day parade.
The author's feminism is deeply satisfying to me also without being obtrusive. I really enjoyed everything about it, and plan to give a copy to each of my two daughters.
